Phil Perry - Amazing Love
[1991] Capitol Records - 12" US

If you look at the Phil Perry's discogs page, you will see that not many users declare having this record.
Quite strange if you consider the quality of this 12" release... for sure one of the best Def Mix Productions in 1991.
Is it possible that this record didn't reached his audience ?

It's true also that 1991 was maybe the most prolific year for Def Productions with almost a new remix released each week !

Anyway with David Morales on the mix plus the duo Kupper & Burrus on the keys, this record is a bomb and will probably remind you Malaika 'So much love' or Ce Ce Peniston 'Finally' in his construction.

All the mixes are splendid, my favorite is the 'Serious Moonlight Mix' with his long musicappella intro, the famous Burrus strings and bright pianos in the background.

I remember a time when Garage Music was melodious and luxurious;
I remember a time when all Morales releases were simply gems;
I remember Phil Perry - Amazing Love...

PS : Mix Makers Forum Club members will find audio extracts in the Slsk Manutek's december update
